DND stands for “Do Not Disturb”. As per the latest TRAI (Telecom
Regulatory Authority of India)guidelines, if your mobile number is on
the “Do Not Disturb” (DND) list, then you will not receive any
unwanted telemarketing calls and SMS. You have the option to receive
calls and SMS from a few selected industry.
Activation or deactivation of DND service takes 7 working days.
To register your number for DND, simply dial 1909 from your mobile number or just send 'START DND' as an SMS to 1909.
To de-register your number from DND, simply dial 1909 from your mobile number or just send 'STOP DND' as an SMS to 1909.
